WE WORK IN THE SHADOWS OF THE PROJECTS AND ARTISTS YOU ADMIRE

The best shows have a secret. It's us.

SHADOW TO LIVE: 19 YEARS DOING WHAT NO ONE ELSE DARED

Several hundred shows a year, across Belgium, France and around the world.

The artists who trust us weren't looking for another agency. The clients who call us weren't looking for another quote. They were looking for someone capable of staging a concert at the top of the Atomium, organising 93 simultaneous concerts across Belgium or 10 metres underwater, a partner to achieve what no one else had done before.

Since 2007, Shadow to Live has been building careers and producing events from Belgium and France, on stages across the world. Artist management, international booking, show production and brand entertainment: four disciplines, one standard. What happens on stage must be flawless. Everything else is our problem.

We work in the shadow of the spotlights you are watching

JOB ALERT: FEEL LIKE JOINING THE TEAM?

We're not looking for people who want a job. We're looking for people who are passionate about doing things differently, who get bored in structures that always play it safe, and who want to work on projects they'll still be talking about in ten years. At Shadow to Live, the industry's rules aren't a limit, they're a starting point.

MARKETING & COMMUNICATION INTERNSHIP

Internship

Want to understand how the live entertainment industry actually works? Not from a textbook, not by making coffee, but by being in the room when decisions are made and on the ground when shows happen?

At Shadow to Live, interns aren't bystanders. From our Brussels office, you'll work directly with the team on real projects: artists like Alice on the Roof, Henri PFR, Blanche and Mustii, events for clients including ING, L'Oréal and Proximus, and productions that go well beyond the ordinary.

What you'll actually do:

You'll manage the agency's digital presence and our artists' social media, create content for our campaigns, write communication materials for media and partners, and contribute to our marketing and commercial tools. At concerts and events, you'll be on the ground with the team, learning how it all works from behind the stage.

What we're looking for:

You're studying Communication, Marketing, PR or equivalent. You understand social media with a genuine editorial sense, not just personal use. You're comfortable with standard tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, PowerPoint) and can write confidently in French and English. You're autonomous, curious, and you ask questions before heading in the wrong direction.

What will stand out most: how you think, your curiosity about the industry, and your ability to bring ideas without being asked.

What you'll find here:

A human-scale team working on ambitious projects. Concerts and events you'll attend, often from backstage. Real exposure to all four sides of Shadow to Live: artist management, booking agency, show production, brand entertainment. And a reference that actually carries weight in the industry, if you put in the work.

To apply:

Send your CV to jobs@shadowtolive.com with the subject line "Marketing Internship // Your Name".

Skip the cover letter. Send us a voice note or short video explaining what draws you to Shadow to Live and which project in our recent activity caught your attention, and why. Be yourself, be direct, surprise us.

BOOKING AGENT / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Open-ended contract

Shadow to Live has been placing artists on Europe's best stages for over 15 years. Private concerts for the most demanding corporate clients, productions that push boundaries, events that leave a lasting impression. We build ambitious projects, we work with artists who matter, and we're looking for someone to take this catalogue even further.

What we're looking for isn't common: someone sharp, autonomous, and rigorously organised. In this business, opportunities disappear within days when followups don't happen. We want someone who doesn't let things slip, who works their contact base with method, and who knows how to build a long-term relationship with a promoter or artistic director just as well as they can close a deal.

What you'll do:

You'll sell our artist catalogue to festivals, venues, event agencies and corporates in Belgium and abroad. You'll manage your commercial pipeline with discipline, from prospecting through to signature, making sure no opportunity falls through the cracks. You'll be present at the shows you've sold to maintain the relationship with organisers and ensure everyone leaves wanting to work with us again.

The profile:

Real commercial experience in live entertainment, events, media, sponsorship or the influencer and digital space. What matters most: you know how to build a relationship, you can defend a project with conviction, and you're as comfortable following up with a prospect three weeks after a first call as you are pitching cold to a festival you've never met.

You're organised by nature. Not because someone asks you to be, but because you know that a deal lost through poor follow-up is the worst way to waste time. You work methodically, you keep your contacts documented, and you don't wait to be reminded that a followup is overdue.

French and English are essential. Dutch is a serious advantage for covering the Flemish market.

What you'll find here:

A young team with a genuine growth mindset, projects that go well beyond the ordinary, and real freedom in how you develop your business. We'll train you on the catalogue and support you to get operational quickly. After that, you drive. We're here to back you, not to micromanage you.

The atmosphere is direct, demanding and passionate. We're building something, and we're looking for someone who wants to build with us, not someone looking for a comfortable role in an established structure. We're growing and we're building a team with people who are meant to grow with us.

Full-time permanent contract, based in Brussels, with regular travel to events across Belgium and occasional international trips. Salary discussed based on your profile and experience.

To apply:

Send your CV to jobs@shadowtolive.com with the subject line "Booking // Your Name".

No cover letter. Send us a voice note or short video, two minutes maximum. Pitch us an artist of your choice as if you were calling the artistic director of a 5,000-capacity Belgian festival to sell them a date. We want to hear how you think and how you sell, not how you write. If you're not sure where to start, this role might not be ready for you yet.
