Who is Calogero
WHO IS CALOGERO?
Calogero is one of the most acclaimed French-speaking singer-songwriters since the early 2000s. Active in music since 1987, he launched his solo career in 1999 and broke through in 2002 with his self-titled album, certified diamond disc with over one million copies sold, driven by "En apesanteur" and "Prendre racine".
His third album "3" (2004) sold over 1.5 million copies, featuring hits "Si seulement je pouvais lui manquer" and "Face à la mer" with rapper Passi. In 2014, "Un jour au mauvais endroit" was named Song of the Year at the Victoires de la Musique. Calogero has released 10 studio albums, including "Centre-Ville" (2020, number 1) and "X" (2024).
Winner of 4 Victoires de la Musique (2004, 2005, 2015, 2018) and multiple NRJ Music Awards, Calogero regularly performs in venues seating 1,000 to 40,000 in France, Belgium and Switzerland. He served as president of the 38th Victoires de la Musique ceremony in 2023. Since September 2025, he has been touring France across 150+ dates. Calogero performs for private and corporate events.
