GIMS, known as Maître Gims until 2022, is one of France's most listened-to artists. With over 8 million albums sold across a 20-year career, his biggest hits include "J'me tire" (2013), "Bella" (2013), "La même" with Vianney (2018) and "Spider" with Dystinct (2024), which topped the French charts for seven consecutive weeks.
His debut solo album "Subliminal" (2013) was certified diamond. "Ceinture noire" (2018) also reached diamond status, and "Le Nord se souvient" (2024) was the best-selling album in France in 2025.
