WHO IS TAYC?
Tayc, born Julien Bouadjie on May 2, 1996 in Marseille, is a French R&B singer of Cameroonian origin. Active since 2017, he pioneered what he calls afrolove, blending R&B, afrobeat and Caribbean sounds into a signature style that has crossed all borders.
His album "Fleur froide" (2020) is certified diamond in France with over 500,000 equivalent sales. The single "N'y pense plus" (2020) surpasses 165 million Spotify streams and holds diamond single certification. In 2024, its international version "Yimmy Yimmy" with Indian artists Shreya Ghoshal and Rajat Nagpal turned him into a global star: Tayc became the second most-listened French artist worldwide on Spotify, alongside David Guetta, DJ Snake and Aya Nakamura.
He reaches over 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify and performs in France, Belgium, Switzerland and internationally in venues seating 1,000 to 10,000. In 2026, he joined the jury of The Voice season 15 on TF1. Tayc performs for private events, showcases and corporate events.
