Who is Puggy
WHO IS PUGGY?
Puggy is a Belgian pop rock trio founded in Brussels in 2005, composed of singer-guitarist Matthew Irons, bassist Romain Descampe and drummer Egil "Ziggy" Franzén. The band has released 5 studio albums, including "Something You Might Like" (2010), certified gold in Belgium, "To Win the World" (2013), also gold, and "Are We There Yet?" released in 2025.
Active for over 20 years, Puggy won the Octaves de la Musique awards in 2011 and 2013. They opened for Incubus on their European tour (2007) and for the Smashing Pumpkins at Bercy, Paris (2008). Key tracks include "When You Know" (2010), "How I Needed You" (2011) and "To Win the World" (2012).
Puggy performs in venues from 1,500 to 8,000 capacity in Belgium and France. Their 2024-2025 comeback generated multiple sold-out shows at Ancienne Belgique before moving to Forest National (8,000 capacity, Brussels). Puggy performs for private and corporate events.
