SD WORX INTIMATE CONCERTS

93 artists. 93 private living rooms. One single evening. All coordinated to the minute, from Antwerp to Liège, across the entire country.

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of its SME division, SD Worx wanted to thank employees and clients in a way that reflected its core value: proximity. Event agency The Oval Office brought Shadow to Live on board to co-design the concept and handle the full artistic production. The idea that emerged was as simple as it was bold: SD Worx employees would open their homes on the same evening for a live private concert, with their clients as guests.

The operational challenge was substantial. Running 93 simultaneous concerts in private homes across Belgium required a level of coordination far beyond standard event production. Each venue had to be assessed for live performance: space, acoustics, power supply, audience flow. Shadow to Live contacted over 400 artists, negotiated 93 performances approved by SD Worx, and booked additional standby artists to cover last-minute cancellations. That precaution proved essential: several artists dropped out on the day itself due to illness, replaced seamlessly without hosts or guests ever noticing.

On the evening of 12 October 2018, artists including Alice on the Roof, Blanche, Typh Barrow, Jasper Steverlinck, Puggy and Tourist LeMC walked into 93 Belgian living rooms and performed just metres from their audience. 2,000 people experienced that evening in a way no concert hall could ever replicate.

The concept was awarded Gold for Musical Event and Gold for Corporate Celebration at the Bea World Awards 2019, alongside a Bronze for Best B2B Event. International recognition for a project built on one conviction: the most powerful corporate experiences are the ones that feel personal.

From concept to the coordination of 93 simultaneous performances nationwide, Shadow to Live proved that corporate entertainment can be both intimate and extraordinary. We don't answer briefs. We create moments people carry with them.
