WHO IS SELAH SUE?
Selah Sue, born Sanne Putseys on May 3, 1989 in Leuven, Belgium, is a singer-songwriter at the crossroads of soul, reggae and R&B. She has established herself as one of the most acclaimed Belgian artists of her generation, with a career spanning Europe and the United States.
Her debut self-titled album (2011), driven by "Raggamuffin" and "This World", sold 400,000 copies in France alone and was certified 4x platinum in Belgium and 3x platinum in France. Her second album "Reason" (2015) reached 150,000 sales across Europe, earning a European gold certification. In 2022, she returned with "Persona", featuring Damso, Mick Jenkins and Benjamin Epps.
Active since 2008, Selah Sue has won the Music Industry Award for Best Female Solo Artist 5 times and received the Prix Constantin in 2011. She opened for Prince in Antwerp (2010) and toured the United States alongside Ed Sheeran. She performs in venues of 1,500 to 15,000 capacity in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
