WHO IS OZARK HENRY?
Ozark Henry is one of Belgium's most internationally recognized artists since the 1990s. Born Piet Goddaer in Kortrijk in 1970, son of classical composer Norbert Goddaer, he is a songwriter, composer, performer and producer. His debut album released in 1996 was praised by David Bowie as one of his personal favorites. Since then, he has released over 10 studio albums.
His most notable tracks include "Rescue" (2001), "These Days" (2006) and "We Were Never Alone" (2017). The album "Birthmarks" (2001) earned a platinum certification in Belgium, and "The Sailor Not the Sea" (2004) reached number three in the Belgian charts. Ozark Henry has won 5 Zamu Awards in the Best Pop Rock Artist category.
He has performed with the National Orchestra of Belgium and the Metropol Orkest, and collaborated with artists including Toots Thielemans. In 2015, the United Nations designated him Goodwill Ambassador against human trafficking. TEDx and Google New York invited him to speak on his pioneering work in 3D immersive sound. His latest album "August Parker" was released in October 2025.
Ozark Henry performs in venues seating 500 to 5,000 in Belgium, the Netherlands and France. He is available for private and corporate events in three formats: solo piano-voice recital, concert with ensemble, or concert with classical orchestra.
